Thanks for the tips Dan, I can’t wait for the Profitable Niche Packet!

  2. James says:

Good video Dan,looking forward to next video, can you tell me how many niches will ne there in our niche packet? Also will those be physical product niche or for Digital products.

  3. admin says:

I am still adding niches to the packet as I type this, but it looks like it will be well over 60 untapped niches in the packet. All of these will be high ticket physical products you can get huge commissions from. Within the packets is basically every physical product niche that I am currently in and making money from.

  4. Tim says:

Thanks for the video’s. I think you are going to provide some good insight into where we can find niche’s. I am going to use the new information to get started moving forward on a project I have sitting around.

One thing I have seen you say and others say is that you should put out a website to get indexed(no affl links yet) then follow it up later with more posts and links to affiliate products.

I think I made this mistake wanting to get out there fast.

  5. admin says:

    Tim,

I think you are right about placing the affiliate links too soon.

I mean, Google isn’t really a fan of affiliate sites because they are commonly associated with SPAM. What better way to detect an affiliate site then by checking to see who it’s linking to, right?

One other way to get around this is instead of linking directly to your vendor, link to a review page instead and filter your traffic through your review page affiliate links.

This way you can have 20 different articles on your site with only one of them pointing to an affiliate site.

    Thanks for posting!
    -Dan

Hi Very helpful video. Awaiting to grab the launch offer

  7. Frank says:

    Dan,

How would you implement this linking to a review page strategy in connection with your Profitzon Affiliate Marketing Course. It looks like this course is about building review posts of multiple products in a specific niche. Can you give an example of how this would look?

  8. admin says:

    Hey Frank,

Generally with physical product reviews you can’t really do the article to review page strategy I suggest in the 2nd part of my No Skill Profits course.

You have to make straight up product review articles and place them on your blog and filter the traffic directly to Amazon or whatever physical product vendor you are using.

Does that make sense? Or am I a confused as to what you are asking me?

    -Dan

  9. Frank says:

    Hi Dan,

I was referring to the comment by you regarding placing affiliate links on your website as follows: “One other way to get around this is instead of linking directly to your vendor, link to a review page instead and filter your traffic through your review page affiliate links.”

    Frank

  10. admin says:

Right. That only applies to problem solving niche sites. For product reviews you can’t really do it like that.

Let me use a weight loss site as an example.

Say you have a ebook you are trying to sell on weight loss.

You would create a review of the ebook and place it on your blog. You would then go and create articles that you can forward to your review.

So I would write an article on ‘fast working weight loss tips for your stomach’.

The article would provide them with helpful information, and with a call to action within the article, I would forward them to the review article I wrote for the ebook I am trying to sell.

However, with product reviews, you can’t follow this format. Try it once with a product review site, you will see what I mean.

    -Daniel

  11. Nate says:

Maybe I’m dense… but why couldn’t you write articles for say, Ezine, and then point them to your physical products review site???

  12. This sounds like a cool product, can’t wait to get my hands on it.

  13. admin says:

    Nate,

    Here is why:

Ezine doesn’t allow you to use branded names in your articles – some might get through, but 90% of the time they will not be approved.

Ezine also doesn’t allow direct linking with an affiliate link.

Also, if you write a review on a yoga DVD, for example, and post it to Ezine, where would you link to from there to your blog? Another review of the same Yoga DVD? Your click through rate will plummet if you do it like that.

    Make sense now?

    -Dan Brock

  14. Nate says:

Dan, thanks that does make a lot of sense. So if you did want to write articles for Ezine, what would be the way to do it? General information about Yoga? Thanks.

  15. Darren says:

Daniel, put me down for one 😉
Any ideas on what time will you be opening the doors for your niche packets? I live in Australia so the time difference will require me to stay up a few hours if I wanna get in early…

    Cheers,
    Darren

  16. admin says:

    Darren,

It is set to launch at 3:00PM EST Dec 15th.

I will send an email out tomorrow to confirm it.

In all honesty though, if you buy it within the first 24 hours of launch you will probably be fine. I know I said they would sell out within 5 hours of launch, but that was an optimistic estimate. I will most likely keep the offer up for the first 24 hours after launch to account for the time zone differences.

    Thank you, and Regards!
    Dan Brock

  17. Kevin says:

    Dan,

You have to be one of the first 100 to get bonus no. 2.

I am in Australia and when your email is sent it will be somewhere in the middle of the night.

    Kevin

  18. admin says:

    Kevin,

Check my comment I left above yours.

Most likely I will be keeping the offer open for 24 hours after launch to account for the time differences of some of my customers.

If you get it within that time frame, you will probably be OK.

    Regards,
    Daniel

  19. AR says:

    Dan,
Looking forward to this packet. It would be good to discuss the importance and extension of the particular domain name for a niche. Should it be general or targeted? Does it matter? This has been one of the stumbling blocks. Does including the word ‘buy’ in your domain name help in attracting call to action visitors?

    Thanks.

  20. admin says:

    AR,

The domain name is minor, but it does play a role in your SEO efforts.

I personally like to use .com, .net, .org.

Some people use .info names because they are cheaper, but I think the search engines realize people will be using them for SPAM sites so it takes longer for .info domains to rank. This is just a theory of mine, mind you.

It is a good idea to put some keywords in your domain name though.

If you are writing about beginner yoga dvds, you could register a domain name like buybeginneryogadvds.com(very creative, I know ;P).

    Hope that clarifies it more!

    -Daniel

  21. AR says:

    Dan,
Good feedback. So in essence, if the keyword research and low competition niche passes with the other elements, the domain is not relevant. The indexing will help me still gain visibility to sell the products, right?

    Thanks.

  22. Martin says:

    HI Dan,

Looking forward to the grand unveiling! I think I’m stuck in a few of those “too big for my boots” niches that you mention in the second video but I’m hoping to combine this with your Profitzon stuff.

    Not long now 🙂

    Martin

  23. Esha says:

    Hi Dan,

Your Niche Packets are the bomb!

I sent you an email b/c I’m having probs with the vids.

    Hit me back soon!

    Esha

  24. admin says:

    Esha,

I am aware that certain operating systems are having issues playing my bonus videos.

I really suck at this whole video thing, don’t I?

You will get an email shortly from my email newsletter service with links to flash versions of the videos.

The email is caught up in queue because apparently Mike Filsaime did a huge launch today and every marketer is bombarding the mailing service.

    Sorry for the trouble.

    -Daniel

  25. Alan says:

Fyi i was able to view the videos with the VLC Media player. Dan, great job on the niche packets! What is cool is that one of the niches is one that i just created a site for last week so it’s good to know that i might be on the right track. Thanks for the info!

  26. Lusi34 says:

Hey Dan, nice packet, although some of the keywords doesn’t meet my criteria, but many of them does. I can’t find any video how to use the linkbuilding software, could you tell me where can I get it?

BTW, next time you launch a niche packet, please give us also the excel file for the keyword, so we can easily use it.

    Thanks

  27. Alan says:

Hey Dan, Quick question. I currently have one of my product review sites with an inner page that ranks on page 1 of google for my keywords but only when searching with the firefox browser. When i search for the same product with the same keywords with IE it ranks on page 3. Any ideas?

  28. admin says:

    Lusi34,

Funny thing is I never thought about making an excel spread sheet! Looking back that is definitely what I should have done – it would have been soo much easier!

    Alan,

I am betting you are signed into a Google account in your Firefox browser. Google saves your search history and puts you most visited searched at the top of the search results for your given keyword(kind of scary if you ask me).

    Regards,
    Daniel

If you log out, you will probably be on page 3 like you are in internet explorer.

  29. Dan, Thanks for the Packet! I am trying to use the Bonus Software. I remember seeing a short clip on how to use it. Is this clip still available and where is it? I can’t find it here or in the package. Thanks!!

  30. Derek says:

I know this post is somewhat old, but I figured I’d ask anyway.

I noticed alot of comments regarding sending traffic directly to pages with affiliate links, and why not to do this. You recommended sending them to a review site instead, where the affiliate links are.

If I were cloaking my links, wouldn’t this solve that problem?

The reason I ask is because I have been blog commenting and social bookmarking my site to certain posts/pages on my site that have my affiliate links in them and have already landed several of my articles on the second page of google. Jumptags, Mixx and Propeller have even given me backlinks. It’s only been a week or so since I had these posts bookmarked. So far so good.

I have been told by several people that I should never social bookmark my sales sites directly if they contain affiliate links.

If I haven’t gotten sandboxed by now, Should I be okay to keep rolling?

Can I bookmark and get backlinks much faster using this cloaked links? It seems as if google doesn’t consider my site an affiliate site. Am I wrong in assuming this?

  31. admin says:

You can do either method, and it really comes down to testing the particular niche you are in.

Me personally, I have found that I make the most money sending my readers to an intermediate page – AKA the review page.

This helps warm the prospective reader up to the offer that you have.

Essentially what it does is filters out the people who aren’t interested, and further warms up the people who are interested.

By doing this, you are capturing both the people who were interested in buying anyway, as well as the people who needed a little bit more convincing.

As for the cloaking question, I am still up in the air whether or not the big G penalizes a site with nothing but affiliate links.

It could go either way really.

I would say cloak your links to be on the safe side.

  32. You definitely placed a large amount of effort into that post and it really is incredibly interesting to see the notion strategy that you went through to arise with those conclusion. Thanks for that.

  33. I intended to write you a very small word to finally thank you so much once again with your superb secrets you have contributed at this time. It’s quite seriously open-handed of people like you to grant without restraint what a lot of folks would’ve marketed for an electronic book to make some bucks for their own end, primarily given that you could have tried it if you considered necessary. The strategies additionally worked like the great way to be certain that other people have similar dream similar to my own to see whole lot more with regards to this issue. I know there are lots of more fun moments in the future for people who start reading your blog post.
